This is how it all started…

Ness has had a long journey in their artistry. Their first acting gig was Munchkin 1 in their community center’s production of The Wizard of Oz, Ness was 7. They had a few more roles until high school where they were in Laramie Project their freshman year. They didn’t act for the rest of their high school career, they took up sports instead. They went into college majoring in Environmental Studies, switched to History, and finally settled on their old passion, Theatre(with a minor in History).

Ness hadn’t heard of dramaturgy until the beginning of their senior year of college, in their production of The Female of the Species. They became very interested in the research and formatting in the presentation they saw. When signing up for their last semester of classes, they saw an Intro to Dramaturgy class and knew this was their chance. They took the class and fell in love, it is the perfect mix of their education in theatre and history.
